ROBERTO MANES

Violinist. World Jazz, Jazz Rock/Fusion, Evocative Soundscapes

Milan born violinist, Roberto Manes studied violin at Conservatorio di Musica in Milan.

Extensive tours throughout Europe as both a soloist and as a performer with the Roberto Manes band. Numerous broadcasts on European TV networks, including the BBC and RAI. Two solo albums of original compositions (Phoenician Dream, Fihavanana). Several international cinematic collaborations including the Venice Film Festival. Works published by Warner Chappell and distributed by Harmonia Mundi. Roberto has been awarded the “Grand Prix de la Musique” prize – Madagascar.

Roberto signed a publishing contract with Warner Chappell music in London. Roberto has collaborated with guitarist and songwriter Rory Gallagher and worked with various cinematic composers including: Julian Stewart Lindsay, Srdjan Kurpjel, Charlie Mole, Kevin Sargent.

Roberto plays Michele Cavazzuti violins. Teaches in London.
